SMALL GROUP LABS

Do you have 2-5 friends with their own Canine Companions? Would you like to get together with your friends and learn about dog training? Small Group Labs is for those Pet Parents who want to learn basic manners together with their human friends and their friends’ Canine Companions! Small Group Labs can be held in your home, backyard or out in the community. Gather your friends to meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to join forces and learn some common cues that any Pet Parent could benefit from. Small Groups Labs starts with a Pet Parent Orientation to get acquainted with the tools and materials you will need to gather for your Canine Students before the first day of lessons. Small Group Labs is a great place to learn foundation skills like coming when called, sit and down on cue, target skills, go to bed and greeting behaviors. More advanced students may wish to work on skills going towards their Canine Good Citizen Title (CGC) through the American Kennel Club (AKC) or Therapy Dog skills through Therapy Dog’s International (TDI) or other therapy dog certification requirements. This option may be a cost-effective method of receiving Pet Professors tutoring services while achieving a shared goal with your friends.
